Professional Placement Year – Apply to UK

A Master’s program with a Placement Year (or Professional Placement) is a postgraduate degree designed to combine academic study with real work experience in a UK company.

Master’s degrees normally last 1 year, but with a professional placement, they usually become 16–24 months in total.

Structure: Taught phase (first 9–12 months) + Professional placement phase (6–12 months), where you work as an intern or junior employee
